Farmagia anime reveals January 2025 premiere and more in first PV

Thursday, November 14, 2024, saw the official website for the television Farmagia anime series reveal its Friday, January 10, 2025, release date and more in its first promotional video. The series also revealed its cast (many of which are returning from the game of the same name), its staff, and its opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is previewed in the first promotional video for the series.

The Farmagia anime also confirmed its Japanese release broadcast and streaming information but did not announce any international streaming news as of this article’s writing. However, it is expected that the anime will be made available to stream internationally since the game the anime is based on is also available overseas.

The Farmagia anime is set to premiere in Japan on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10:30 pm Japanese Standard Time. The series will broadcast on Tokyo MX at this time, followed by broadcasts on MBS and BS11 at later times. Per the anime’s official website, it will stream in Japan simultaneously on ABEMA, Lemino, and Anime Times. The cast features returning voices from the game and includes in totality:

Toshihiko Sano is directing the anime at Bridge studios, with Shinji Ishihara as the chief director. Toshizo Nemoto is handling the series composition, with Toshiomi Izumi designing characters for the anime based on Fairy Tail mangaka Hiro Mashima’s original game designs. Shuhei Mutsuki is composing the music for the series. Additional staff includes the following:

The opening theme song will be Life is Beautiful by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, which is also the larger franchise’s theme song and will launch on February 19, 2025. The opening theme is previewed in the trailer above. The ending theme song is titled myss-dystopia and will be performed by sokoninaru, who also worked on the game’s theme song dis-dystopia with the main voice actors.

The Farmagia anime is based on the video game of the same name, which launched worldwide on Friday, November 1, 2024. The game is available in digital and physical formats for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC via Steam.
