My Hero Academia volume 42 reveals a huge Class 1-A presence in end-of-series Top 20 Hero rankings
As mentioned, the latest leaks for My Hero Academia volume 42 revealed not only the Top 10 Hero rankings end-of-series but the full Top 20 Hero rankings. The full top 20 includes several Pro Heroes from both the prior and next generations, featuring a healthy blend that sees the next era slowly take over. The full top 20 rankings are as follows, per the latest available spoilers:

Of these 20, over a third of them are from Class 1-A, those seven being Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Tenya Iida, Momo Yaoyorozu, Fumikage Tokoyami, Eijiro Kirishima, and Mezo Shoji. Another five are their contemporaries from UA High, such as Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado, Tamaki Amajiki, Juzo Honenuki, and Neito Monoma. Two others are from their generation but other schools in Inasa Yoarashi and Yo Shindo.
This is all notable because it shows the next generation truly is taking over as the most iconic and widespread heroes of the end-of-series era. It also provides a fitting conclusion to characters not originally mentioned in the weekly release of the final issue, such as the rankings of Mirio’s Big 3 peers Nejire and Tamaki. More spoiler information is expected to be released in the days to come before My Hero Academia volume 42’s official release on December 4, 2024.
