Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime reveals April 2025 premiere, main cast, and more

On Friday, November 29, 2024, the official X account for Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime announced that the series will premiere in April 2025, i.e., in Spring 2025. At the same time, the staff revealed the details about the show's main cast and opening theme song artists.

Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime is based on the gourmet fantasy light novel series by author Kanata Hoshi and illustrator Peperon. Kodansha has been serializing the light novels since April 2021, with three volumes published thus far.

The series also has a manga adaptation with Chika Mizube's art, which has been serialized on Kodansha's Palcy manga service since March 2021, collecting nine tankobon volumes so far. The latest volume was released on November 29, 2024.

Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime will be released in April 2025 on TBS and BS11 channels in Japan. The show's official X account confirmed this via a tweet on Friday, November 29, 2024. However, a specific release date hasn't been disclosed yet.

Kanna Nakamura, who previously voiced Alicia Williams in I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History, has joined the voice cast as the heroine, Malphiera Marchalrayd.

Besides her, Taito Ban voices Aristide of Galbraith, the main hero. Taito Ban has voiced many characters, like Sung Jin-Woo in Solo Leveling, Amane Fujimiya in The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, and others.

Notably, the official X account of Kodansha's Shone Sirius magazine shared a video featuring Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime's central characters, Malphiera and Aristide. The short video includes a few iconic panels from the manga and previews the main cast's voices.

Moreover, the anime's X account has shared comments from Taito Ban and Kanna Nakamura. The voice actors are elated to be part of the franchise. Nakamura-san hopes to do her best so fans can look forward to seeing Maphiera enjoy some fun time with Duke Galbraith. Likewise, Taito Ban urges fans to anticipate the series.

Besides the voice actors, the official staff has revealed that the Idol group AVAM will perform the show's opening theme song. The title of the song hasn't been disclosed yet. That said, a comment from AVAM (shared on the anime's X account) indicates that it's a warm piece that will make fans realize the importance of someone who can praise them for their differences.

Additionally, the X account has shared celebratory illustrations for the Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime from the novel illustrator Peperon and the manga adaptation artist Chika Mizube. Both illustrations feature the main cast, Malphiera and the Duke Galbraith.

Based on Kanata Hoshi's light novel series, Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! is a gourmet fantasy rom-com anime that centers around Malphiera, a monster-eating, gluttonous lady, and Duke Galbraith.

One day, while looking for a fiance at a party, Maphiera is attacked by a vicious monster. Just then, the Blood-Mad Duke, Aristide of Galbraith, saves her and begins to develop feelings for the earl's daughter.

Interestingly, he discovers Malphiera's unique "hobby," which she can't share with anyone. As such, the series will showcase Malphiera and Galbraith's unique chemistry, with a dash of gourmet cuisine and battle in the mix.
