After the success of Shonen Jump, introduced four years ago in 2019, Ken stated in the video that it is time to expand and that VIZ Media will launch VIZ Manga. The new app's library will contain works in the shojo, fantasy, action, horror, slice-of-life, LGBTQ stories, and other genres.A unique digital service app, VIZ Manga, will give users access to more than 10,000 chapters from Shogakukan and Shueisha publications in the VIZ Manga Library. VIZ Manga will be distinct from the current Shonen Jump app. It will be the first platform outside of Japan where Shogakukan manga can be read legally through simultaneously published releases.Ken went on to say that when the new app launches, the library will have 15 titles simultaneously published and available to English readers. All of these titles will be reliable sources of information, and the most recent chapters will be made available for free reading.
