One Piece couldn't make it more obvious that Killingham is the most dangerous God's Knight

Among the many memorable groups in One Piece, the God’s Knights stand out as one of the most formidable. As the elite guard of Mary Geoise, these chosen World Nobles oversee the Holy Land, wielding authority that far surpasses even that of the Marine Admirals.

The God’s Knights’ first significant role is in the Elbaph Arc, where they follow Imu’s orders and unleash rampant destruction upon the land of the giants. Even among the many impressive fighters in the unit, however, Killingham’s manipulation of sleep and dreams places him a step above the rest—and One Piece chapter 1151 all but confirms it.

Saint Killingham, a member of the Rimoshifu Family, is a major antagonist in the Elbaph Arc. He is one of the later God’s Knights to be introduced, summoned by Shamrock to take part in a sadistic game that would plunge the island into chaos.

Why Killingham is so dangerous in One Piece

Possessing the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin, Killingham took on the appearance of a dragon during his introduction in One Piece. He came across as simultaneously clumsy, cautious, and polite—preferring to avoid a battle against the Straw Hats unless absolutely necessary.

Due to his attitude, which was noticeably different from the other villainous God’s Knights, some fans speculated that Killingham might not be as evil—or might even turn and support the heroes in the future. This hope was soon dashed when Killingham played a central role in the takeover of Elbaph.

While Killingham has the same level of immortality and Haki as the other God’s Knights, what truly sets him apart is his dream-manipulation powers. He can put targets to sleep and force them to sleepwalk as he desires. Additionally, Killingham is capable of bringing the dreams of those who are asleep to life.

This can range from simple zero-calorie food that satisfies his allies to dangerous monsters that are born out of the nightmares of his victims. Known as the MMA, these creatures can become larger than giants, taking the forms of legendary figures, undead beasts, and more.

Killingham is immensely dangerous in One Piece because there seem to be no limits to his powers. His MMA have a physical presence and can cause massive destruction, yet they can also be revived after being beaten. Since Killingham himself is unkillable to a degree, he remains the greatest threat to Elbaph—until he is ultimately defeated.

Chapter 1151 of the manga finally introduced Killingham’s true face and personality—and they were just as despicable as many fans expected. In his Man-Beast form, Killingham rampaged across the island, showing none of his early courteousness.

However, the most fearsome aspect was not just his physical change but the full extent of his powers. After Imu turned the giants into demons, the children under Killingham’s control began dreaming of demonic beings.

This caused real-life demons to be born as Killingham’s nightmares, joining the pre-existing MMA and Imu’s forces in devastating the island. When Sommers questioned how far they would go, Killingham reassured them that the situation was entirely in their favor, no longer being the voice of reason.

Final thoughts

Even with Imu’s presence in Elbaph, Killingham remains the biggest threat on the island. His powers seem to follow no logic or reason, and he can put anyone to sleep and bring their worst fears to reality. Since both Killingham and his monsters are immortal, they will have to be defeated first if the main cast wishes to protect the giants
