One Piece chapter 1127 has already started to get leaked, and the Elbaf arc has properly begun with fans trolling Usopp. A lot of people have assumed that this is going to be the arc where he has a lot of focus because of his affinity with Elbaf and its Giants, although the recent leaks haven't been favorable for him as he is quickly defeated by a giant cat.

While the vast majority of jokes made by One Piece fans in this discussion are in good fun, some have also pointed out that it is great that Usopp starts the Elbaf arc at a low point. That is something that didn't escape the fandom's eyes and they have already started to troll the character in what is supposed to be his arc in the manga.

For a long time, Usopp has had admiration for Elbaf and the Giants, which is why a lot of fans have theorized that he is going to get a lot of attention here. However, the idea that he started the Elbaf arc by being defeated by a cat is something that a lot of people find extremely funny, although it is all in good fun.

Furthermore, there are some fans who claim that starting at a low point is great for the character since he is going to be able to pick himself up. That is something that Usopp has already gone through in the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs, which are widely regarded as his finest moments in the series, and fans hope that case repeats here and even better.

Usopp had an upward trajectory in One Piece until the time skip, starting out as a coward who could barely defend himself. However, as the arcs went on, he still had fear but managed to overcome it to help the Straw Hats, slowly gaining a degree of confidence, as evidenced during his performances in the Enies Lobby and Thriller Bark arcs.

Despite that solid development, Usopp went back to a default state after the time skip when he should have been a lot stronger from a mental perspective. Moreover, barring a great moment fighting Sugar in Dressrosa, the character has failed to do anything relevant for a long time, which is why a lot of fans think that the Elbaf arc is the last chance he has to do something meaningful.
