Colorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant hasn't seen the amount of success he or anyone else thought he would have when he signed with the team. He signed a seven-year, $182 million deal in 2022 but hasn't produced the way he has in years past.

Many around the league thought Bryant's offensive numbers would surge once he landed in Colorado. Coors Field is deemed a "hitter's paradise". The high elevation causes baseballs to be hit much farther compared to other stadiums around the league.

Bryant hasn't homered at Coors Field in 153 plate appearances. It dates all the way back to 2017. It is by far the biggest homerless streak at Coors Field by a longshot.

The stats aren't encouraging for fans heading into the 2023 season. They thought they were getting a sure-fire slugger when they signed Bryant last year. Fans are hoping he can turn this around next season.

"This is looking like an all time bad decision by both parties," one fan suggested.
"This year that will change," stated another fan.

Despite struggling at Coors Field, he still produced offensively. In 42 games with the Rockies last season, Bryant hit .306. He just couldn't square one up in Colorado.

Colorado Rockies fans believe Kris Bryant will have a much better year at Coors Field this upcoming season. Playing in Colorado is different than playing anywhere else, and it may take him more time to adjust.

Bryant is a four-time All-Star. He got his start in the league with the Chicago Cubs back in 2015. He made an impact in the league as an All-Star during that 2015 rookie year. Bryant was also named National League Rookie of the Year as well.

He played a vital role in helping the Cubs break the drought and win the World Series in 2016. That same year, he won the NL Hank Aaron Award.

2021 would be his final season in Chicago as he signed with the San Francisco Giants. He fared decently in San Francisco, but it wasn't where he saw himself long-term; that's when the Rockies showed up.

While he didn't have much success at his home ballpark, he only played 42 games. That's not a lot of time to get used to the elevation change. If Kris Bryant can stay healthy, the Colorado Rockies are certain he'll produce all year long.
