Ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers' game against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, famous X Japan musician YOSHIKI performed at the Dodger Stadium as part of the Hello Kitty Night event. He performed the US National Anthem and "Endless Rain" on the piano.

Yoshiki's performance left everyone mesmerized in the audience, as they applauded the singer after his performance. Fellow countrymen Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto presented the artist with custom jerseys bearing the number 44. They posed for some photos with Yoshiki and the iconic Japanese character, Hello Kitty.

The collaboration between Hello Kitty and Yoshiki is part of a global theme song being prepared by Yoshiki for Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary. Moreover, the character "Yoshikitty" is nominated for the 2024 Sanrio Character Awards.

According to YOSHIKI's official website, the artist's brand, MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS, made its debut at Milan Fashion Week in March.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani avoids outside noise and wants to give "100 percent"

Ever since Shohei Ohtani signed a 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers earlier in the offseason, he has continued to grab headlines for all the wrong reasons.

However, the biggest of them of all was his alleged involvement with his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara. However, things are now brought to a close with Ohtani denying his involvement in the betting scandal, claiming Ippie was lying all along.

Amid all the distractions, Ohtani continues to shine on the field and it comes with a two-way star avoiding outside noise and giving his 100 percent on the field.

"When I play baseball, I don't really think about it," Ohtani said. "I think basically the skills I've acquired playing baseball don't change, so I trust that first and foremost. My job is to give 100 percent of myself on the field, and that doesn't change regardless of what happens off the field."

One other big news that took center stage just before the Dodgers' Seoul Series was that the 'normal Japanese woman' that Ohtani was married to was none other than former professional basketball player Mamiko Tanaka.

Ohtani, in a recent press release, mentioned that her support has helped him go through all of this.

"The basic rhythm of life hasn't changed, but a lot has happened in the past few weeks, so it makes quite a difference having someone by your side," he said. "There have been times I was really glad to have her there."

Despite all the claims alleging his involvement in betting, the federal investigation has found Ohtani innocent, as they claim Ippei fraudulently took money out of Ohtani's account.

Shohei Ohtani seems to have kicked a gear, as he has improved his hitting over the last week and a half, hitting three home runs. Dodgers fans will be hopeful of another MVP-level year from him.
