Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell was ejected late in the game vs. the New York Yankees. When it appeared that Wandy Peralta had done a quick pitch, which is against the new pitch clock rules, Bell sprinted out of the dugout and was promptly tossed from the game.
What ensued was one of the wildest reactions to an ejection in some time. Many managers choose to get their money's worth following an ejection. They will often yell and scream at umpires until they've had their fill and leave.

What Bell did harkened back to the old days, when managers would throw bases and kick dirt across the plate and even more. Bell was gesticulating wildly at umpires, very furious over the call.
He was animated, with the reaction lasting about a full minute, and MLB fans loved every second of it.
Bell's reaction may not have changed the game, but it may have garnered the manager a few more supporters who love seeing umpires taken to task on poor calls.
David Bell, Aaron Boone ejected from Reds-Yankees
Though it happened way earlier than David Bell's eventual ejection, Aaron Boone was also ejected from the same game. Neither manager made it into the final inning.

Boone was incensed after the umpires ruled that a foul ball was actually fair and that the runner on first would have scored. It granted the Reds an early 1-0 lead. The Yankees manager believed that granting three bases was absurd, let alone the fact that they ruled the ball foul in the first place.
He was tossed in the bottom of the first after having managed just five outs. In the eighth, Bell joined him after his epic meltdown over a reported quick pitch from Wandy Peralta.
It's not often that both managers get tossed like this, but it happened during the Yankees series-sweeping victory over Cincinnati on Sunday.
