Francisco Lindor has been the lynchpin for the New York Mets' postseason run, while Enrique "Kike" Hernandez has also performed well for the LA Dodgers. With a 10-2 victory, the Dodgers have taken a 3-1 lead in the NLCS, a victory away from securing a spot in the World Series.
Despite Lindor and Hernandez repping opposing teams in the series, their wives have reciprocated love for one another. Lindor's wife, Katia, and Hernandez's wife, Mariana Vicente, have always been present in the gallery in the postseason, supporting their husbands and their respective teams.
Vicente recently shared an Instagram story of a snap with Katia Lindor and their mutual friend, Gabriela Beauchamp Cantor, amid the Game 4 between the Dodgers and Mets. Lindor's youngest daughter, Amapola Chloe, was also with Katia in the snap.
Mariana Vicente captioned the snap "My Girls" in Spanish.
Katia Lindor reacted to Mariana Vicente's story with a story of her own. She captioned it "Love you girls," thus reciprocating the love Vicente showered on her.
Francisco Lindor married Katia on Dec. 16, 2021, after the pair connected via Instagram. It was the Mets shortstop, then at Cleveland Indians, who initiated conversation after he saw a picture of his future wife. They are now part of a happy family with their two daughters, Kalina Zoe and Amapola Chloe.
Mariana Vicente was the 2010 Miss Universe Puerto Rico. She secured the top 10 2010 Miss Universe pageant. In addition to modeling, she has also acted in movies and series. Interestingly, it was one of her roles in "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" that caught the attention of Kike Hernandez and their eventual marriage in December 2019. They have a daughter, Penelope, born January 2021.
Francisco Lindor's wife Katia highlights Mets shortstop after Gold Glove snub
Francisco Lindor has undoubtedly been the driving force behind the Mets' postseason run. Although they are just one loss away from elimination at the hands of the Dodgers, many believe Lindor deserves to win NL MVP over Shohei Ohtani.
Ohtani has the designated hitter role, while Lindor performs exceptionally on defense and is one of the arguments for the Mets shortstop. However, Lindor didn't make the shortlist for the Golden Glove nomination, as Dansby Swanson, Ezequiel Tovar and Masyn Winn got the nod.
In a recent Instagram story, Katia shared a post by her acquaintance Stephanie St Martin Bikowski highlighting Lindor's exceptional fielding display against the Dodgers.
