Derek Jeter and Deion Sanders, two of the most cherished faces of American sports, came together at Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhatten, NYC. They gathered for Fox Sports' annual Fox Upfront event.

While Jeter has five World Series championships, Coach Prime has two Super Bowl wins. Moreover, Sanders also made an appearance in the World Series in 1992, being the only athlete to have played two major American sports.

The event held in evening also saw attendance from top retired athletes, including Jeter's former teammate Alex Rodriguez, Patriots legends Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski and actor Jamie Foxx.

Jeter shared snippets of the event on social media, where he was seen posing alongside Deion Sanders, Brady, Gronkowski, Foxx, A-Rod, TV personality Erin Andrews and broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt.

Fox's Upfront event hopes to attract sponsors and media advertisers for upcoming big events like the Super Bowl, World Series, college drafts, FIFA World Cup, exclusive TV documentaries and more.

Actor Jamie Foxx showed a preview of "MLB at Rickwood Field," a tribute to Negro ballplayers from Alabama. Foxx introduced Yankees legends Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter to speak a few words about it.

Last season, Derek Jeter joined baseball greats including David Ortiz and Alex Rodriguez to talk about games, especially during the 2023 World Series, which the Texas Rangers won, beating the Arizona Diamondbacks.

However, Jeter was uncertain whether he would return for the next season.

“I don’t know yet, we’ll see,” Jeter said at the time.

That was followed by New York Post reporting a six-year deal between Derek Jeter and the broadcasting company.

In December, Jeter confirmed his return on the channel, saying that he would join David Ortiz, Alex Rodriguez and Kevin Burkhardt to discuss baseball.

“I’m sitting next to David (Ortiz), so you don’t have much of a choice but to have fun,” Jeter said on “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa” podcast. “I’m happy, I had a great time doing it. I’m looking forward to this upcoming season."

This broadcasting gig has helped Jeter sort out differences with his old David Ortiz and get along with his former teammate A-Rod.

Fox has a way to attract top talent to be their voice. In the upcoming NFL season, seven time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will work as a color commentator after inking a 10 year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports.
