With so many MLB teams back in action on Tuesday, Daily Fantasy Sports players have a wealth of options to choose from. Whether it's star players in lineups or elite pitchers on the mound, the lineups today can be good. To that end, we've got the players you need to keep an eye on for a classic 10-game slate.
Top Pitchers for MLB DFS September 3
Chris Sale ($10800 on DraftKings, 11600 on FanDuel)
Chris Sale has been arguably the best pitcher in baseball this year. The Atlanta Braves star is 15-3 with a 2.58 ERA, 192 strikeouts and a 1.07 WHIP. The worst rank for those numbers is seventh in baseball.
Paul Skenes ($9800 on DraftKings, $10900 on FanDuel)
Paul Skenes has become a must-start player. The Pittsburgh Pirates ace is 8-2 with a 2.23 ERA, 136 strikeouts (in just 109 innings) and a 0.95 WHIP. The ERA and WHIP would be among the league leaders if he qualified.
Luis Castillo ($9000 on DraftKings, $10000 on FanDuel)
Luis Castillo has been great for the Seattle Mariners this year. The star pitcher has 11 wins, a 3.65 ERA, 167 strikeouts and a 1.17 WHIP. Today, he's up against the lowly Oakland Athletics, so pick him for DFS.
Top Hitters for MLB DFS September 3
Mookie Betts ($6300 on DraftKings, $3900 on FanDuel)
Mookie Betts should generally be in every DFS lineup when he plays. The Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop has an excellent matchup today with the Los Angeles Angels, and he is hitting .301 with 14 home runs and 58 RBI in 92 games this year.
Jose Ramirez ($6400 on DraftKings, $4100 on FanDuel)
Jose Ramirez is another star that should be on fantasy radars every single day. The Cleveland Guardians player quietly has a .275 average, 34 home runs, 105 RBI and a .860 OPS.
Aaron Judge ($6900 on DraftKings, $50000 on FanDuel)
New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge has seen his average sink from .334 to .326 and has not hit a home run in the last eight days. However, he's still hitting at the second-best level in baseball with an MLB-leading 51 home runs, 124 RBI and a 1.173 OPS.
Budget picks for MLB DFS September 3
Andres Gimenez ($3700 on DraftKings, $2900 on FanDuel)
Andres Gimenez is another Guardians player to keep an eye on today. They are up against the solid Brady Singer of the Kansas City Royals, but Gimenez has six hits in the last week, so he's in good form at this discounted price.
Ramon Laureano ($3200 on DraftKings, $2600 on FanDuel)
Ramon Laureano has a decent if unspectacular OPS of .720. The Atlanta Braves star is facing Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies, though, which gives him one of the best matchups in baseball.
Michael Harris II ($3800 on DraftKings, $2900 on FanDuel)
The same is true for Michael Harris II, who also faces Freeland. The Braves outfielder has six hits in the last seven days as well, and as he continues to work back from injury, he could heat up even more.
