Amber Roman, the fan who caught Shohei Ohtani's first home run ball with the Los Angeles Dodgers but was then embroiled in controversy, has emerged with an impressive haul.

Roman was invited back to the stadium for a special birthday outing and showered with some more gifts, including the opportunity to meet the slugger, which the Dodgers previously didn't allow.

Roman said on X, formerly known as Twitter:

"Besides getting to meet Ohtani we were also given another set of items. We now have 2 game model bats, 2 balls, and 4 baseball caps all signed. Shoutout to PSA for having us this week and having the first set of items I received authenticated for us expeditiously!"

According to the update, they were given a new set of rewards for giving the ball back: two game model bats, two baseballs from the team and four signed hats. This is in conjunction with the rewards they'd already received.

Those included bats, balls and other autographed items.

The Dodgers allegedly pressured Amber Roman to trade in the Shohei Ohtani home run ball for a different reward, without being allowed to meet the player. This prompted backlash from a lot of places.

The Dodgers, to their credit, did try to make up for the controversy by inviting the family back for an outing at Dodger Stadium. They got treated to an "on-field experience" and ended up with several high-value rewards.
