However, they were among five teams to have submitted an offer to Soto. The other teams include the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Being one of the first teams to offer Soto a contract is exactly what the club needed to do. Acquiring him would instantly boost the team's lineup moving forward. According to Baseball America, this is what their lineup could look like next season;

5. Bo Bichette

7. Alejandro Kirk

9. Ernie Clement

That would be a lineup that would strike fear into opposing pitchers. With Springer, Soto and Guerrero Jr. at the top, there could be some instant fireworks to start ballgames.
