Where can I watch MLB Spring Training games for free?

World Series - Philadelphia Phillies v Houston Astros - Game Two
MLB Spring Training is set to kick off on February 25th, 2023

Baseball fans will not have to wait long until they can watch their favorite teams again, as Spring Training is set to begin on Feb. 24. All MLB teams will be split into leagues based out of Arizona and Florida as the teams prepare for the upcoming season.

Not only do these exhibition games allow players to ramp up their training for the long season ahead, but they also give teams the opportunity to evaluate roster hopefuls in game situations.

Teams are allowed to invite up to 60 players to Spring Training as coaches are provided with a first-hand opportunity to evaluate the latest roster additions from trades and free agency.

Games will be played throughout Arizona and Florida. Tickets for the games range from $8 to $30, depending on the matchup and the importance of the event.

However, for fans who are unable to attend the games, MLB.TV will be broadcasting the games live throughout the country for free. While not every game will be broadcast, the majority of games will be available online or on the app. Fans will need to consult the schedule for each day.

For baseball fans hoping to watch their team's games without signing up for MLB.TV, local sports broadcasting stations will be airing some of the games. However, the selection may be small.
