Alex Condon plays collegiate basketball for the Florida Gators men’s basketball team as of the 2024/25 season. He started playing high school basketball at Hale School but later joined the BA Centre of Excellence, which is partnered with the NBA Global Academy. Condon also trained with the Australian men’s national team and was regarded as a top prospect in Australian football. Following his prep career, he started playing college basketball for the Florida Gators in 2023.

Condon appeared in all 36 games as a true freshman while starting in only one. He earned SEC All-Freshman honors and was the first player in the program’s history to make his first career start in the NCAA. As a rookie, he averaged 7.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists as per the Florida Gators website. In his sophomore season, the 6-foot-11-inch forward averaged 10.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists before sustaining a sprained right ankle in a game against Mississippi State.
