Elliot Cadeau college journey commenced with his entry into a restructuring Carolina team in 2023. Enrolling over the summer, he embarked on this new chapter, displaying his skills and commitment. During his freshman season with the Tar Heels, Cadeau averaged 7.3 points and 4.1 assists and led the program with 150 assists to his name. He appeared in all 39 games with 36 starts and was the 11th freshman in the UNC history to bag 100 assists in a season.

Simultaneously, his involvement in Sweden's national basketball teams remained impactful. His remarkable performance at various international tournaments, starting from the under-15 team to the under-18 squad, showcased his consistent excellence.
