Nick Pringle is a collegiate basketball forward playing for the South Carolina Gamecocks basketball team in the South-Eastern Conference of the NCAA. Pringle attended Whale Branch High School, where he began his basketball journey. Pringle was selected for the Carolinas Classic All-Star game and was named to the first team all-state during his senior year at high school in 2020. Among other universities, he selected Wofford over Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arizona State, and West Virginia.
Pringle began his collegiate career with Wofford Terriers, where he recorded his first and only double-double, scoring 17 points and dishing out 11 rebounds versus Carver College. In his rookie season, he scored 30 points and recorded 32 rebounds while shooting 59 percent from the field. However, he transferred to the University of Alabama in 2021. He recorded 126 points, 111 rebounds and 15 blocks his sophomore season while shooting nearly 85% from the field. After two seasons with the Crimson Tide, Pringle transferred to the University of South Carolina for his senior season in 2024.
