Ryan Nembhard plays for the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the West Coast Conference (WCC), as of March 2025. Before joining Gonzaga, he made a mark with the Creighton Bluejays. During his high school career at Montverde Academy, Nembhard made a standout performance in the 2021 GEICO High School Basketball Nationals, where Montverde emerged victorious. Rated as a four-star recruit, Nembhard turned down offers from Florida, Ohio State, Stanford, and USC to embark on his collegiate journey with Creighton.

In his college debut against Arkansas–Pine Bluff, Ryan Nembhard made an immediate impact, starting all 27 games and earning six Big East Freshman of the Week honors. His contributions led to him being named Big East Freshman of the Year. Beyond college, Nembhard has represented Canada in various international competitions. As a sophomore, Nembhard averaged 12.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while playing in 37 games. However, after two years, Nembhard decided to transfer to Gonzaga for his next two years of college basketball. As of March 2025, Nembhard started in all 34 games and averaged 10.6 points, 9.8 assists, and 3.0 rebounds (via ESPN).
