Zakai Zeigler NIL deals

Zakai Za’Miek Zeigler is a college basketball point guard for the Tennessee Volunteers of the Southeastern Conference. The 5ft 7inch athlete played football at Immaculate Conception High School where he played in running back, quarterback, and safety positions. He began his collegiate journey with the Tennessee Volunteers where he was honored with the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. Last season, Zeigler appeared in all 36 games and concluded the season with the third-most assists (218) in the program’s history. He also averaged 11.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.7 steals in 31.6 minutes per game (via ESPN).

He was rated as a three-star recruit out of his prep school and received offers from Minnesota, Manhattan, New Mexico State, Southern Illinois and a few more. During his senior year, he participated in the 2021 Peach Jam where he averaged 15.3 points and 5.5 assists per game. The rising senior will play his final season with the Vols after leading the program to an SEC regular-season championship and a spot in the Elite Eight.
