10 greatest Indian victories against Australia

2.India vs Australia, Durban 2007

Coming on the back of two inspiring victories against South Africa and England, India went into the 2007 World T20 semifinal against Australia, brimming with confidence. That confidence could be seen in their play even when the openers were dismissed for low scores with 60 runs on the board as Robin Uthappa and Yuvraj Singh smashed the Australian bowling to all corners of the Kingsmead to leave them running for cover.

Uthappa was run out for 34 but Yuvraj carried on, powering his way to a 30-ball 70 to take the Men in Blue to an imposing 188 for 5 in 20 overs.

The Australian openers gave their side a good start and Matthew Hayden looked good to get them close. However, once he fell for 62, the others couldn't continue to keep up to the rate and they eventually fell short by 15 runs, paving the way for the Indians to enter into the final.
