After India had levelled the series 2-2 in Nagpur, both teams arrived in Bengaluru looking to clinch the series and Rohit Sharma decided that it was time for him to step up and deliver. And deliver he did. The right-hander blazed away to his maiden double-hundred, making 209 off 158 balls, with 12 fours and 16 sixes to help India post 383 for 6 in 50 overs.

After it looked at one point that Australia would lose by a big margin, James Faulkner started his own show on the night, hitting sixes at will and in the process smashing the fastest century by an Australian in ODIs. But he couldn't sufficient support at the other end and they folded up for 326 to hand India a 57-run win.
