1st Test India v South Africa - Day Two
Sehwag's 319 saved the Test for India

No surprises here. India hosted South Africa for a three-Test series in 2008. In the first Test in Chennai, South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. The visitors went on to post a huge total of 540 in their first innings, thanks to Hashim Amla's brilliant 159 off 262.

In return, the veteran opener exploded for his second triple-century in Tests. He made 319 and India scored 627 runs. His innings was accompanied by 42 fours and six sixes and came at a breath-taking strike rate of over 100.

The game ended in a draw, while Sehwag was awarded the Man of the Match trophy for his triple-century that saved India. The series was drawn, 1-1.
