When you talk of Indian captains and MS Dhoni doesn't feature the list is impossible. Whenever you talk of best captains in the world, his name will pop right at the top of the list, such has been his reputation. Having captained India in 199 ODI matches, MS Dhoni won 110 games with a winning ratio of 59.57 percentage.

When India toured England in 2014, MS Dhoni had to face a lot of criticism after India's dismal performance in the Test series against England. However, the Indian team fought back and won the 5-match ODI series 3-1 (one match was washed out due to rain).

India won the series on the back of fantastic performances from Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shikhar Dhawan. India had some brilliant bowling performances as well. Having taken eight wickets in the series, Md. Shami finished as the highest wicket-taker in the series.

Suresh Raina was adjudged the player of the series for his all-round performance. Raina had scored 160 runs and took four wickets in the series to finish as the most valuable player of the series.

This win happened to be India's biggest win in England. Eventually, MS Dhoni became the only third captain after Kapil Dev and Md. Azharuddin to win an ODI bilateral series in England.
