England vs India 2018: 3 Indians for whom this Test series is likely to be the last

Some Indian players have not capitalized on their opportunities in England

#1 Dinesh Karthik

England v India: Specsavers 2nd Test - Day Two
Karthik has had a miserable Test comeback

The Nidhas Trophy star's fairy-tale run came to a screeching halt during the Test series in England. Karthik's Midas touch ran out of battery and he could hardly put bat to ball in the two Tests that he played in. His scores of 0, 20, 1, 0 didn't help the team's cause as well as his. If his time in front of the stumps was a nightmare, his time behind them wasn't any better. His glove-work left a lot to be desired and his discomfort with the spacing between him and the slip fielders was on display, way too often.

20-year-old Pant, who replaced Karthik after the first two Tests, is yet to make a defining impact with the bat. His time with the gloves, on the other hand, has been assuring. Not to forget, India's regular wicket-keeper, Saha, will also make the KKR captain's Test dream that much more difficult.
