With the introduction of the T20 format, we have seen the enhancement in scoring rate of batsmen. With just 20 overs in hand and having 6-7 batsmen in the side, players can easily take that extra risk by going for the big shots. This has also improved the game of a few players.

Nowadays, the trend of setting high targets can be seen in One-Day matches also, where sometimes even after scoring 300+, a team cannot be sure if they would win or not because there were instances when the teams have lost even after scoring 300+.

And with high scores comes a high number of sixes and fours as it is impossible to do it with just 1s and 2s. There are players like Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum and many more, who are famous for their sky-kissing shots, across both the formats.

And when it comes to prolific six hitters, the Indian team has many. From Virat Kohli to Virender Sehwag, India's list keeps going. And remember, it was Yuvraj Singh who smashed six sixes against England in the World T20 in 2007.

With India currently touring Australia, this article suits the need of the hour.
