England batsman Alex Hales, who played a magical innings on Saturday against Australia, has become the No.1 ranked batsman in the ICC T20 rankings.
Alex Hales played a terrific innings of 94 (61) in the second T20 match against Australia and guided England to a comprehensive win to level the two-match T20 series. He was awarded 65 rating points after the second match, which helped him to move past Brendon McCullum, who was at the top of the ICC ratings.
Australia batsman Aaron Finch has moved into the top 20 of the ICC rankings following his impressive performance in the first T20 match against England.
In the meantime, Steve Finn and Jade Dernbach have moved into the top 10 rankings of the T20 bowler rankings.
Sunil Narine leads the bowler’s rankings and two Pakistan off-spinners Saeed Ajmal and Mohmaad Hafeez are placed at second and third position respectively.
