#2 Virat Kohli
The current Indian skipper Virat Kohli, is considered by many cricketing pundits and fans as the best batsman in world cricket in all three formats of the game.
In the Commonwealth Bank tri-series of 2012, Kohli was India's highest run-scorer in the whole tournament, with 373 runs from 8 matches at a superb average of 53.28, and also the only positive to emerge for India, in an otherwise dismal tournament where they failed to qualify for the finals.
However, Virat Kohli did not have a good game, during India's last one-day match against Australia at Adelaide Oval, as he was dismissed for just 18 runs by fast bowler Clint McKay.
#1 MS Dhoni
Despite a successful cricketing career, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has always been a subject of criticism from cricket pundits and fans, with the most recent example being when Dhoni was criticized for his slow batting knock of 51 runs from 96 balls in the 1st ODI at Sydney while chasing a target of 289.
During India's last ODI game against Australia at the Adelaide Oval, MS Dhoni was one of the chief architects behind India's victory with an unbeaten knock of 44 runs, and finished the game for India by scoring 13 runs required to win the match in the last over bowled by fast bowler Clint McKay.
