The absence of Steve Smith and David Warner in the Test series can prove highly advantageous for India. Australia will miss their services a lot in the Test series, as their batsmen will have to face a strong and fierce bowling attack.

After the ball-tampering incident, Smith and Warner were banned for 12 months by the official cricket board of Australia. Since Warner and Smith will not feature in the Test series against India, India have a great chance of bowling out the Aussies quickly. It'd be interesting to see how the relatively less-experienced Aussie batsmen tackle the Indian bowlers and compete with India's batting line-up.

The last time Australia hosted a Test series against India, Steve Smith scored centuries in all the four Test matches and Warner scored three centuries in the four matches, as Australia won the series 2-0.
