#4 Cheteshwar Pujara

Pujara has been a blow hot blow cold sort of a batsman. One day he will score a fighting hundred as he did in the fourth Test against England at Southampton and on other occasions, he will go without a fifty for many innings.

One thing that Pujara brings into the team is stability. He is a classical Test batsman who doesn't get out without putting up a fight. He puts a high price on his wicket and bowlers have to get Pujara out rather than Pujara throwing his wicket away. He plays in between stroke makers in the Indian team, so his role becomes pivotal in the current Indian team.

Pujara has played 20 Tests in England, South Africa, Australia & New Zealand and scored 1,135 runs at an average of 29.86 with 2 centuries.

Pujara has struggled a bit in overseas conditions, but, his recent hundred in England shows that he is finding his feet in testing conditions.
