#3 Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle is by far the most destructive T20 batsman the world has ever seen and has the ability to rip apart any bowling line-up. Every bowler’s nightmare, the Jamaican has produced many phenomenal performances since he made his International on September 11, 1999.

Moving forward exactly 8 years on the same date, he scored his first T20 century against South Africa in the first match of the inaugural ICC World T20. Gayle is arguably the most successful batsman if all the three formats are taken into consideration. Apart from scoring 39 centuries across all formats, he has scripted his name into the list of elite players who have scored two triple hundreds in Test matches.
