#4 Mohammed Shami, 16 wickets (E/R 3.60)
Mohammed Shami, who had a brilliant South Africa tour with 15 wickets, once again shone with the ball and picked up 16 wickets. His in-swingers troubled the English batsmen and he remained consistent throughout the series.
He bowled the highest number of overs for India in the series but did not slack off. In the fourth Test, Shami was terrific and picked up 6 wickets, including 4 wickets in the second innings.
The fast bowler was instrumental in breaking partnership and the skipper looked at him whenever the England batsmen were busy building partnerships.
