#2 The combined bowling performance of Indian seamers

England v India: Specsavers 5th Test - Day One
Ishant led the bowling effort with 18 wickets

The Indian seamers bowled with pace and accuracy throughout the series. They took a combined 61 wickets in the series. They bowled with tight line and length and constantly troubled the English batsmen and were instrumental in India's only win of the series.

It was heartening to see them perform so well. While Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets in India's win at Nottingham, Ishant Sharma was the second highest wicket-taker in the series with 18 scalps. Mohammad Shami also kept testing the batsmen with his nagging line and length.
