Virat Kohli is an Indian professional cricketer, regarded as one of the best batsmen of the current era. An intense, zealous, ruthless and enthusiastic person who has taken not only India but the whole cricketing by storm.
The testament of his success and prodigious batting is clear by the number of centuries he has been able to pull off in such a short period of time. It is rather amazing but astonishing at the same time, that the 32-year-old already has 70 international centuries to his name, making the number fifth highest in the world.

Virat’s first century came on 24 December 2009 against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, scoring 107 runs with a strike rate of 93.85.
In some of the historical innings played by Virat is the cracking 133 scored by him in just 86 balls against Sri Lanka in early 2012.
However, the young Indian captain’s highest ODI score came against Pakistan in the 2012 Asia Cup, where he scored 183 to win the match.
Thirty-five of Kohli’s ODI centuries have come in India’s win, while the other eight were in a losing cause. A very interesting fact about his ODI centuries is that India has an 81 percent chance of winning a match if Virat has scored a hundred.
Kohli’s first test hundred came on 24 January 2012 against Australia at Adelaide, where he scored 116 runs but unfortunately lost the match. His highest ever score of 243 came against Sri Lanka at Feroz Shah Kotla in December 2017.
Out of all the test centuries of Virat, the Indian team has drawn seven, lost five and won nine.
The Indian captain still has a record book to open in the T20 format of the game, since his debut in 2010 he is yet to score a century in the format. However, given his status in the game, it is inevitable.
