Hardik Pandya has been a revelation for the Indian team in the last couple of years. The all-rounder was handed a Test cap after his superlative performances in ODIs. While he has shown a lot of promise with both bat and ball, Pandya hasn't been consistent enough. He has received a lot of flak, especially for his bowling. But the 24-year-old has responded brilliantly. He took a maiden five-wicket haul in the first innings of the third Test against England which helped India dismiss England cheaply and get a decisive lead. If Pandya can continue the good work, he can be an asset to the Indian Test team.
