With the World Twenty20 Cup almost half-way through the super 10 matches, let us have a prediction of the 4 teams that are going to find a way into the semi-finals by considering their performance in the tournament so far, and also taking into account the matches and oppositions left for them to face.
#1 Sri Lanka

The current world no. 1 team, Sri Lanka had been consistent both in the warm-up matches as well as the group matches so far in the tournament. Currently, they head the Group 1 table with 2 wins from 2 matches with a world record win over Netherlands and a close win over South Africa.
With 2 matches left for them against England and New Zealand, they need just one more victory to ensure a seat in the semi-finals. With a strong spin attack, they could easily beat both the teams, since they are not well-known for playing spin bowling.
#2 India

India has been on top of their game in this tournament, beating arch-rivals Pakistan and the defending champions West Indies by 7 wickets. Currently, India are at the top of the table with 2 wins from 2 matches and need just one more victory to ensure a seat in the semifinals.
India's rest of the two matches are against the host Bangladesh and Australia.
Indian bowlers have been really impresive and got good support from the ever consistent Indian batsmen. We don't normally see an Indian bowler winning back-to-back man of the match awards and Amit Mishra has done it for India. With the spinning tracks of Bangladesh, Indian spinners holds the key for the Indian progress.
#3 Pakistan

Pakistan, West Indies and Australia are the contenders from Group 2 to reach the semi-finals along with India. But Pakistan seems to have an upper hand since they have beaten Australia and might have an easy game against the lower-ranked team of the group, Bangladesh
Also, Australia and West Indies have to meet each other on 28th March 2014, and thus one will lose one match for sure.
And also with the spinning tracks of Bangladesh, Pakistan will back themselves to beat Bangladesh with in form Saeed Ajmal, Zulfiquer Babar, Shahid Afridi and the skipper Mohammad Haffeez.
#4 South Africa

South Africa, New Zealand and England are the contenders from Group 1 to reach the semi-finals along with Sri Lanka. All the three teams are expected to have an easy match against the lower ranked side of the group, Netherlands.
And Sri Lanka is expected to beat all the teams in the group, being the only sub-continent nation in the group. And thus the matches between South Africa, New Zealand and England will have a great importance and with South Africa's win over New Zealand on 24th March, South Africa is having an upper hand over the other two.
