Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketers in the game's long history
#8 Kiran More
Kiran More was one of the most underrated, unnoticed players in his time.
Kiran More was India's wicket keeper and replaced Syed Kirmani in the side. He was a mainstay and was known for his dogged rearguard action whenever India got into trouble. He scored 58 runs in the only innings he batted in Sachin's debut match. He last played international cricket in 1994 and formally announced his retirement in 1998.
He started the Kiran More-Alembic Cricket Academy and with that going successfully, he was the Chairman of Selectors for the Indian Cricket Team for a five year span between 2002 and 2006. He wasn't involved in much cricketing action after that. One lesser known fact about Kiran More was that he trained actor Sushant Singh Rajput in wicket keeping and batting for his part in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
