India vs Bangladesh 2019, 1st T20I, Match Prediction: Who will win today's match?

Amid all the tensions going on between the players and the Bangladesh Cricket Board, 'The Tigers' will tour India to play a 3-match T20 series and a 2-Test series. Bangladesh have never beaten the Men in Blue in the shortest form of the game hence, the hosts will have a clear advantage heading into this series.

The first of the three T20Is will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. This venue has hosted only one T20I in the past where India had defeated New Zealand by 53 runs with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma had been the heroes for India as both the opening batsmen had scored 80 runs each.

Tamim has a solid record against India and he was going to be their key player but, he will miss the series because of an injury. The entire pressure will be on the shoulders of Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan.

Since the chances of the Bangladeshi team depend only on the performances of two players, the odds will be stacked against them when they play against India in Delhi. Thus, Rohit Sharma and co. will be the favorites to win this contest and get off to a winning start in this series.
