India Women will host South Africa Women for a three-match T20I series. South Africa have played three ODIs and one Test match so far on this tour to India, with the hosts winning all the matches. They won the only Test of the series by 10 wickets after posting a huge total of 603 runs for the loss of six wickets on the board in the first innings.
The first match of the T20I series will be played on Friday, July 5. The next two matches will be played on Sunday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 9. All the matches will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Laura Wolvaardt will lead the Proteas women's side in the series. Chloe Tryon has been included in the squad. She sustained a back injury in April this year and has recovered from it.
