#4. Best figures by a left-arm spinner

Kuldeep Yadav
Kuldeep Yadav bagged 9 wickets from 3 ODI games

Kuldeep Yadav, the young chinaman bowler is the new bowling sensation of India. After bamboozling the England batsman in the T20 series, he yet again humbled the English batsman with his spin and variations in the 1st ODI at Nottingham. He finished with career best figures of 10-0-25-6.

His figures are the best by any left-arm spinner in ODIs, thus surpassing the record of Murali Kartik's 10-3-27-6, set in an ODI vs Australia in Mumbai in 2007.

He scalped 9 wickets from 3 ODI matches which helped him break into to the top 10 ODI bowlers rankings for the first time in his career. He achieved a career-best sixth position for the first time.

Following his stupendous performance in the T20 and ODI series, he has earned a test call-up for tests against England and might well be seen donning the whites in the test series.
