Carson scored five runs off 11 balls, becoming the third victim for the Aussie quick as the Women in Yellow secured an impressive 60-run victory over New Zealand.

However, both Bates (20) and Kerr (29) fell in quick succession, leaving the White Ferns at 57/3 after 12 overs.

After that, the Australian bowlers took control, as New Zealand collapsed from 59/3 to 88 all out, losing the match by 60 runs. Schutt and Annabel Sutherland each claimed three wickets, while Sophie Molineux added two for the defending champions.
