Thailand Women won the toss against Malaysia Women and elected to bat. Nannapat Koncharoenkai scored 40 runs off 35 deliveries and was the highest scorer. She helped Thailand post a total of 133 runs for the loss of six wickets. Mahirah Izzati Ismail was the pick of the bowlers and picked three wickets for 16 runs in four overs.

Winifred Duraisingam and Wan Julia added 68 runs for the first wicket. Julia scored 52 runs off 53 deliveries. However, it was not enough as Malaysia could make only 111 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by 22 runs. Koncharoenkai won the Player of the Match award.

In the second match of the day, Bangladesh Women won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka Women. Nigar Sultana remained unbeaten on 48 runs off 59 deliveries. Bangladesh scored 111 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Udeshika Prabodhani and Inoshi Priyadharshani took two wickets each.

Vishmi Gunaratne’s knock of 51 runs off 48 deliveries helped Sri Lanka reach the target of 112 runs in 17.1 overs. Sri Lanka won the match by seven wickets. Gunaratne won the Player of the Match award.
