This Ashes, we present you with the 11 hottest WAGs that are associated with the on-field warriors. While the players battle it out for the urn, we look at the gorgeous ladies who complete the lives of our cricketing superstars.

1. Alice Hunt & Alastair Cook

Alice, a model by profession and Cook’s childhood sweetheart isn’t the one who’d enjoy the celebrity limelight. In fact, she makes sure that her private life isn’t used as a fodder for futile gossips in the tabloids. Its been more than 18 months since Alastair and Alice got married at a church in Buckinghamshire in the presence of the complete England squad, family and friends.

2. Virginia Lette & Ed Cowan

Fondly known as ‘V’, Virginia is a popular name in the television industry of Australia. Married to Ed Cowan for more than 2 years now, the couple gave a birth to their first child ‘Romy’ in August 2012. She’s also pretty active on twitter and is known for playing silly pranks with her followers.

3. Kyly & Michael Clarke

After a long list of affairs with celebrity models, Michael Clarke finally found the love of his life in Kyly as the two decided to tie the knot in mid-2012. Kyly, a former Aussie Swimwear Model of the Year, is also known as a famous TV presenter back in Australia.

4. Jessica Taylor & Kevin Pietersen

KP and Jessica are known as English cricket’s answer to football’s Posh-Becks combo. Jessica Taylor is a popular British model, dancer and a member of an award-winning Pop group – Liberty X. The couple married in 2007, with KP’s former English team-mate Darren Gough acting as best man!

5. Chantal Bastock & Ian Bell

This is one WAG that we don’t get to see much on the tabloids and gossip magazines. Although, she’s always been one of those animated supporters in the stands when Bell is fighting for his side on the crease. Chantal, often spotted with Bell in England team parties has been a part of the WAG brigade for a couple of years now.

6. Karina & Brad Haddin

Karina and Brad Haddin have taken good and unfortunate times together in what has been a special relationship. Having been together for almost 5 years, the couple have had difficult times to face when their 13-month daughter Mia was diagnosed with a childhood neural cancer. After facing some turbulent times in the past one year, with Mia now recovered, the couple believes that the worst is behind them.

7. Lee Furlong & Shane Watson

Probably, the most glamorous WAG on the list, Lee Furlong doesn’t actually need an introduction in Australian sports circuit. A Fox Sports presenter, Lee has been married to Shane for the last 3 years. She recently gave birth to their first boy Will, in March 2013.

8. Alyssa Healy & Mitchell Starc

Alyssa, like her partner Starc, is a member of Australian Cricket team. Hailing from a cricketing family, with legendary Ian Healy as her uncle, Alyssa was always focused to make a mark as a cricketer. She followed the family tradition as she opted to become a wicket-keeper during her teens. At the age of 23, she has already represented the Aussies in the World T20 competition and has pretty much cemented here position in the starting XI. The couple incidentally met each other on a cricket field when they were played U-10 District cricket for the same side and have been seeing each other for a long time.

On being a part of the elite Aussie WAGs, Alyssa said, “It’s really interesting (being part of the WAG posse). Stereotypically, it’s a real girlie, girl situation and for someone like me who’s been a tomboy ever since she was born, it was quite interesting being thrown into that situation and thrown into the spotlight that way.”

9. Kacey Barnfield & Stuart Broad

Kacey, 25, is an English actress renowned for her role in the movie ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’. The couple have been seeing each other for more than a year.

10. Anna Weatherlake & Peter Siddle

Anna is an Australian radio presenter and has been with the Aussie pace bowler for more than a year. The two have enjoyed a great spell of relationship that has seen Peter turn into a vegetarian for his partner.

11. Daniella & James Anderson

Another British model to have found a promising cricketer as a partner, Daniella married Anderson in 2006 after seeing each other for around 2 years. The couple have two daughters – Lola and Ruby – and they recently got a lavish house in their hometown Cheshire. While we’ve seen a lot of English cricket couples splitting in the recent times, Jimmy and Daniella’s trust and long-term commitment sets an example for others to follow.
