Bangladesh were struggling at 66 for four in the 12th over when Nigar Sultana walked in. With India firm favourites in the game at that moment, Sultana showed a lot of courage with her 26-ball 35 which came at a strike rate of almost 135.

Sultana batted intelligently, putting away any bad delivery she got. But after her wicket, the remaining six batters could score just 44 runs combined against an unstoppable Poonam Yadav.

3. Poonam Yadav strikes again

It was Poonam Yadav's 4 for 19 that helped India carve out a 17-run victory against Australia in the World Cup opener. And this time, it was her 3 for 18 that ensured India defended their total of 142.

Yadav dismissed Sanjida Islam, Fahima Khatun and Jahanara Alam, and most of the batters had no answer to her googlies. Yadav is the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is and was also the joint leading wicket-taker for India at the 2018 World T20, with eight dismissals in five matches.

It goes without saying that her form will be absolutely crucial to the team in the knockouts.
