WWE's Paul Heyman replies hilariously to ICC CWC's tweet on MS Dhoni

What's the story?

MS Dhoni has returned to form as he steered the Indian side to their 2-1 series victory against Australia in the ODI series. The International Cricket Council's official Twitter handle praised the wicket-keeper batsman's unbeaten 87 at MCG with a tweet which was quoted in Paul Heyman's style. The advocate of Brock Lesnar was quick to notice this and he replied to ICC's tweet hilariously on Twitter.

The background

This is not the first time that Paul Heyman has shown interest in Indian cricket. During last year, he had replied to Star Sports' tweet where the broadcasters had compared Virat Kohli with Brock Lesnar using the wrestler's nickname, the Beast Incarnate. This time around, ICC used Paul Heyman's words to praise MS Dhoni's batting.

Cricket World Cup, the official Twitter handle of ICC World Cups, tweeted a photo of MS Dhoni and captioned it as "Eat. Sleep. Finish games. Repeat."

Paul Heyman, who is the advocate of the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar hypes up his client's matches with the catchphrase "Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat." and so, Paul gave his (in)sincere compliments to ICC over this.

Heyman also asked for his royalty fees since he and his client were the copyright owners of that catchphrase and informed the ICC to pay them via cash, check, stock or cryptocurrency.

What's next?

The ICC is yet to respond to Paul Heyman but this was just another light-hearted exchange between the best of the two sports.

As far as Dhoni is concerned, he will be soon be seen playing for India in the ODI series against New Zealand. The first ODI will take place at Napier on the 23rd. On the other side, Paul Heyman will be present in Brock Lesnar's corner when the latter will defend his Universal Championship against Finn Balor next Sunday.
