Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been entertaining the gaming community for two years now. The simple life-simulation title allows players to design their dream island while also building a community wherein they live harmoniously with other anthropomorphic villagers on the deserted island.

Many unique features and items in New Horizons have kept the players hooked on the game for so long. However, there are also several features in the game that could do well with some improvement. Here are a few such elements that could improve the gameplay experience.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons features that could be improved

1) More versatile villager dialogs

Conversation with villagers is part of what makes Animal Crossing: New Horizons such a fun game to play. Each villager has a specific personality type, which makes them very well-loved by the community.

However, players' most common complaint about interacting with villagers is that the dialog assigned to each character is minimal, making interactions very repetitive at times. Thus, adding more versatile talk for villagers could significantly enhance the gameplay experience.

2) Crafting items in bulk

New Horizons players often need to craft a few items multiple times. This is primarily because these items are used a lot in the game, and various units of the same item are required to craft DIY recipes.

Unfortunately, New Horizons does not allow players to craft items in bulk. However, this could be a convenient feature since players often need to craft things like medicine, and it can be very convenient for them to prepare multiple units of such items in one go.

3) Item interaction

New Horizons players can craft different kinds of furniture items in the game. However, most of these items can only be used for decorative purposes and do not serve any real purpose

It would significantly enhance the gameplay experience if players could interact with the items they craft, giving players more incentive to craft these items.

4) Island planner feature

New Horizons players often have to redesign their island multiple times because it simply does not turn out the way they imagined it. However, the presence of an island planner feature could make this a lot easier.

Players can insert their ideas within the island planner, and then if it suits their esthetics, they can get to work on designing the island of their dreams!

These are a few of the features that Nintendo could improve in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to make the gameplay experience a lot better for players of the title.
