Apex Legends: New Legend Character's Release Date Leaked

Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment's free-to-play battle royale game has been under quite some spotlight since its release a few weeks earlier.

Recently, Gaming INTEL found some interesting tidbits about the upcoming Apex Legend character called Octane along with a potential release date. Keep in mind that Octane will be the very first Legend to be released after the base game launch.

A part of the file called Post Launch playlist reportedly may have revealed the release date of this Legend Octane.

Meanwhile, the team behind Apex Legend has already confirmed that the game will receive one new legend in each of the 4 seasons across 2019, though it is yet to be confirmed what characters they would be and what would be their speciality.

Also, for now, you can unlock two legends which are Mirage and Caustic, with Mirage, the weakest of the lot and with functions very similar to Wraith, which is already available for free.

Keep in mind though you can unlock these legends by earning Legend Tokens which you gain while levelling up or by real life money- microtransactions which require 750 Apex credits, which is nearly equivalent to $8 USD.

In other news, Apex Legends recently broke Epic Games' Fortnite: Battle Royale record by gaining 25 million players in just a week which the latter took about 6 weeks to achieve.

Apart from Fortnite, the other battle royale games that seem to get affected by Apex Legends sudden take over of the gaming industry are Player Unknown's Battle Ground(PUBG) as well Call of Duty's Blackout which seems to have lost a huge chunk of its PC players since the release of Apex Legends.
