Vow of the Disciple raid has a total of four major encounters for Destiny 2 players to crack. While each lays down a series of complicated puzzles and mechanics, there are numerous rewards to be had at the end of the line. Ranging across six different weapon types and an armor set, each encounter consists of a particular loot pool.

Much like other raids in the game, Vow of the Disciple also comes with encounter challenges every week. Completing these encounters will spawn two chests at the end, granting players a chance to get double the loot. This includes new weapons and pinnacles.

Listed below are the loot pools for each encounter of Vow of the Disciple.

What is the loot pool of each encounter in Destiny 2 Vow of the Disciple

1) First encounter (Acquisition)

Being the very first major encounter in the raid, Acquisition tends to throw players off with its complex terrain and even more complicated callouts. A team of three needs to divide themselves with each obelisk, while shooting the right signs to progress further.

The gears that can be dropped from this encounter include:

  • Weapons: Submission Submachine Gun, Deliverance Fusion Rifle, and Cataclysmic Linear Fusion Rifle.
  • Armor pieces: Helmet, Chest, and Leg Resonant Fury.

Completing this encounter's challenge will spawn two chests.

2) The Caretaker

The first boss in the entire raid, The Caretaker has a pretty unique design both in attire and overall mechanics. The main objective is to collect different signs and offer them to the obelisk located on three floors. This needs to be done before the boss makes its way to the obelisks.

Players can get the following gears after defeating this boss:

  • Weapons: Insidious Pulse Rifle, Forbearance Grenade Launcher, and Cataclysmic Linear Fusion Rifle.
  • Armor pieces: Arms, and Class Item.

Armor pieces may sometimes vary between Helmet and Gauntlet.

3) Third encounter

Perhaps the most confusing of the lot is the third encounter known as "Exhibition," which requires the participation of every fireteam member. Three total relics need to be picked up in turns, all while clearing adds and shooting signs through callouts.

The loots, however, include:

  • Weapons: Submission Submachine Gun, and Deliverance Fusion Rifle.
  • Armor pieces: Helmet, Chest piece, and Leg armor.

Loot pools from this encounter might change after challenges appear every week.

4) Rhulk boss

In Vow of the Disciple, Rhulk has a total of three phases before players can start damaging him. However, defeating him also grants everyone a chance at the new exotic Pulse Rifle. The legendary loot pools for this encounter are as follows:

  • Weapons: Insidious Pulse Rifle, Lubrae's Ruin Glaive, and Forbearance Grenade Launcher.
  • Armor pieces: Arms and Class Item.

Players can buy specific raid-exclusive gear using Spoils of Conquest at the end of this encounter.

Disclaimer: Certain loots might change every week.
