Although Dr Disrespect has ended his war with Twitch, the streamer clearly doesn’t need the purple platform. "The Two-Time" has been on the platform for two years as a full-time content creator, and has seen nothing but growth during that period.

Stream Hatchet’s Twitter account revealed a graphic showing the hours watched for the streamer, revealing a 48.7% growth for Dr Disrespect, and that is hardly surprising. His fanbase is overwhelmingly loyal, and he is nowhere near his peak.

Dr Disrespect sees incredible growth in a year with YouTube Gaming

For reasons that are still unknown, right after signing a multi-year deal with Twitch, the platform permanently banned the streamer. This led to legal proceedings, with Dr Disrespect being furious with the platform. Dr Disrespect is still banned on Twitch, but even if he could go back, it seems he doesn’t need them.

The statistics showed an incredible amount of growth for the streamer from February 2021-February 2022. The average was 1.9M hours watched a month, peaking at 2.69M, and a low of 1.03M. On top of that, the overall growth is of 48% and his concurrent viewership has smashed his peaks on Twitch.

It is therefore understandable why he isn't raring to go back to Twitch. Several of his closest friends in the industry are now on Twitch, like TimTheTatman and DrLupo. There is also his fanbase, who eagerly tune in to each stream, and are all too glad to see him on YouTube.

Dr Disrespect’s fans are very excited for his continued growth

The Two-Time continues to gain steam and grow in popularity as time rolls on. The sky seems to be the limit for the streamer, and his audience showered him with praise and memes in celebration of his success.

Others remarked about the Doc’s popularity on social media, and one fan said that they missed out on the streamer on Twitch, but found him on YouTube, showing that the Champions Club never stops growing.

One Twitter user pointed out how despite his success, the Doc wasn’t even a partner, but another user explained why: the legal battle with Twitch was in the way, but now that it has come to an end, perhaps another huge announcement could be incoming.

Though one user didn’t think YouTube Gaming would bother offering the Two-Time a contract, since he has “nowhere else to go.” Time will tell on that front.

It’s pretty clear at this point that the Doc doesn’t need Twitch, but some think the Amazon-owned platform needs him instead.

On the topic of Twitch, a fan asked if the Doc is able to play with Twitch streamers yet. That was responded to with a negative, since the streamer is still banned on the platform.

No doubt, it was a huge reveal for the streamer. He has enjoyed a ton of growth since the ban, and has long since proven that he could be a successful streamer and content creator outside of Twitch.
