It wouldn't be Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 without some good old executions; which is good for you, not so much for the Tyranid that's getting carved up. Now, here is where things get a bit tricky.

Performing an execution will restore HP, but not in the traditional manner. Rather than gaining back HP, you will save the HP you are about to lose. However, as a trade-off, you will not be able to regenerate armor and stop HP loss from occurring, should you take damage. So what can you do to heal? Well, while Primaris Marines bask in the glory of combat, they are not meatheads. They do adhere to doctrines that advise on different combat situations.

Lieutenant Demetrian Titus is a battle-hardened Primaris Marine. His four Golden Service Studs indicate that he's well over 200 years old. As such, he's picked up a few tricks while serving the Emperor as a Black Shield before rejoining his Ultramarine battle brothers. He knows a thing or two about how to heal in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.

In-game, you will be able to use his ability called Righteous Fury. When activated, it empowers Titus, giving him near God-like power for a brief duration. You will deal more damage than usual and Titus will be harder to kill. That's not all. For the pièce de résistance, you will swiftly recover health every time you strike an enemy with a melee weapon.

If you time things correctly, you can recover all your health in mere seconds; which is also how long the ability lasts. So remember to use it wisely. Activate it just before executing an enemy for maximum effect. It will be difficult to time given the chaos of battle, but if you stay cool-headed, you will pull it off with ease. This is by far the best way to heal in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.

In conclusion, these are the three ways to heal in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 while playing the Campaign Missions. Remember that each method has its perks, and knowing when and how to apply them will yield the best results.

From personal experience, while playing on Veteran difficulty, store Medicae Stimms for as long as you can. Only use them to recover health when in dire need or when multiple Medicae Stimms can be found in the area. Unlike Righteous Fury, they do not have cooldown time and can be used to instantly heal in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.

Infinite health would be overkill.
